The building houses the Filippini library consisting of approximately 11,000 volumes.

The Church of San Lorenzo was built in the Lombard Romanesque style and is the oldest church in Lodi, after the Cathedral.

The church of San Francesco is one of the main Medieval monuments in the city of Lodi. It dates back to 1252.

Built at the request of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. The building currently houses the Police Headquarters

Founded as a convent it was handed over to the Benedictine nuns who built the church in 1588 (today's Aula Magna).
