Built at the request of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. The building currently houses the Police Headquarters

At Codogno it hosts 122 works, including paintings, watercolors, drawings, sculptures, ranging from the sixteenth century to the present

Founded as a convent it was handed over to the Benedictine nuns who built the church in 1588 (today's Aula Magna).

The Church of San Lorenzo was built in the Lombard Romanesque style and is the oldest church in Lodi, after the Cathedral.
